Downtown San Diego

I started my journey showing condos Downtown the other day in Union Square. Union Square is located in the Cortez Hill area across the street from the Police Station. This was my first time actually noticing the rentable bikes which are all over downtown San Diego now. After showing one condo for sale Downtown San Diego at Union Square we went to the next location, at Alta. Alta is a newer building and the condo I showed was clean, bright and had a modern feel.  Alta Downtown San Diego is a very nice high rise building in the heart of the Gaslamp, on the border of East Village.

How cool is this photo below of an old building that ( up close) shows the history of real estate downtown San Diego. This building looks like it’s been through quiet a bit.

There’s nothing like showing condos for sale in Downtown San Diego, like in The Gaslamp District, where you can always catch a good 3 dollar draft beer. This time it was at the Gaslamp BBQ. Gotta stay hydrated and a high calorie count while showing property downtown. The last thing you want is to be famished from showing too many places, without taking care of your body!

One of my most favorite buildings in the Gaslamp areas, on San Diego MidRises For Sale under 500K, is Gaslamp City Square. Gaslamp City Square has the coolest pool. Just look at the photos of the interior 3rd level pool area.

Gaslamp City Square some cool 2 story floorplans that are located on the 3rd level in the private courtyard, pool area. These live like lofts and almost even single family homes, or atleast townhouses. Across the way are old school brick buildings which make you feel like you are really in the heart of the Gaslamp.

Then it was off to Little Italy to see some more condos for sale.  We actually saw a loft for sale on Ash St for 390K something and like 4 places in Aqua Vista. Aqua Vista usually seems to have the most inventory and selection and  usually represents a good value in Little Italy for condos for  sale under 450K. The location and amenities ( pool) make Aqua Vista pretty attractive, however it’s sort of “bland” in comparison to the vibrant lifestyle and colors, and smells of Little Italy. Little Italy has some of the more unique loft like “artsy” properties that you’ll find Downtown San Diego. Little Italy is a sure winner when it comes to grabbing some lunch in between showing condos for sale Downtown San Diego. We stopped and got a few pizza slices and it worked out just right. I took some photos of the great colors and vibe living in Little Italy offers.
